Lil' Red Hood's Game Review : Academy 34

Do you guys still play Overwatch? Well, regardless if you do or not, I'm sure you enjoy a variety of porn games and animations with all those amazing characters with big-asses. Let's check out one shall we?

This is a ren'py game, but a little more complex that the usual visual novel affair.

The story focuses on the younger days of the Overwatch characters, as they are all studying in the special academy for their future missions. The game takes some liberties as both villains and heroes attend it, but it's alright. All of the characters are staying true to their personality. Tracer is bubbly and animated, Mei is shy and slightly awkard, Mercy is kind and so on.

You are the new student who doesn't really appear in the Overwatch lore itself, so you can comfortably slip into his shoes as a self insert. After some introductions the game opens up and becomes a free roaming adventure, where you move around the academy as you wish, completing quests, meeting characters, attending classes and, of course, try to seduce all the sexy Overwatch women.

The situations are quite natural and make sense in the universe. All of the sex scenes are believable and there is no dumb stuff that makes no sense, which I like.

One more thing to mention about the story and writing is that it can be quite funny. If you are here for more than just sexy pictures, you might find yourself really enjoying the conversations and situations. There were a few times when I actually laughed. So if you take the game seriously and try to find all the scenes and conversations you won't be dissapointed.

I won't go into more details about the story, I'll leave that for you to discover, let's see the gameplay, shall we?.

The game works on a weekly schedule and with each day you can do several things. There is a handy map to travel around the environment and you have a phone to keep track of your objectives and tasks.

Now, the big, should I say, problem here is the way you unlock scenes, which can be quite confusing. You will need to find specific characters at specific day in a specific location. Which can be quite bothersome. While playing, I just wished I could have like a calender or notes on the map where everyone is and when their events happen. It's begging for a walkthrough.

Well, meeting the characters is only the start, they may appear elsewhere next time, they do drop hints sometimes, but you can accidently skip it. Also, you will need to grind money in order to buy relevant things for the progression.

Overall it's quite a weak gameplay loop, which makes me think they have big plans for the future updates? Perhaps some mini-games or more stuff to do in the academy. Well, the good news are - there is a gallery unlock now, it's in the options, so if you are looking for a quick wank, the button is there! And wank you will, because some of the pictures are hot!

The game features a variety of scenes and characters with all sorts of lewd stuff happening. Here is the characters I found so far.

Overall, I really wish the gameplay was better, then I would be confident to give the game high marks. So far I'll have to go with 3.5 stars. It's worth playing if you enjoy Overwatch universe and want to see some western porn on it, but the grind can take you out of the experience quite a bit.
