Lil' Red Hood's Game Review : Rewrite: A Village Life

There are several games on this website that are simulations, there are management games, but I don’t think I’ve encountered a farming game before. And a good one at that. Rewrite: A Village Life is that game. Your enjoyment of this game really depends on your desire to play such farming games. But if you do like this slow style of gameplay, oh boy, you will love this game!

So anyway, the story is a bit simple. Our main character decides to end it all, only to appear on the island of Furria. Here, he meets all sorts of interesting characters, sexy animals and yes furries. Once he arrives the mayor gives you a plot of land to take care of. And thus starts the game. The rest of the story is done through characters which you interact with. There are not many secrets or twists here, but the story is simple enough to enjoy and it is not even the point here. Even in Stardew Valley the story was kinda simple. So let’s check out the main point of the game.

Gameplay here is top-notch, if you like this sort of stuff. If you don’t enjoy, you will find this game slow and boring. But give it a chance. So basically, we have to watch after our farm and. . . well . . . farm.

Clean the land, buy some seeds, put the seeds, water, wait, collect, sell. This will be the main way to make money, but don’t forget about the animals as well, buy feed, take care of them, fuck them in the mouth. Oops. Got ahead of myself here. If you played Harvest Moon or Stardewvalley or wanted to see a hentai game based on them, then this is perfect. The gameplay here is very similar. It’s a calming experience, where you create a routine and then follow it. Of course, along the way it’s also nice to know that you can have sex with several sexy hentai girls (and monster girls).

Thus, let’s see what the game looks like!

The art here is alright, I don’t have much to say. I suppose I could say it is a bit amateurish, but it looks fine, really. The main advantage here is the variety of heroines you will come across, so your eyes will never be bored. Unfortunately, it will take some work from you to get the scenes. Gotta do a bit of farming first before you do a bit of fucking. That’s fair enough, as I said before, this is a special kind of game and if you enjoy this type of gameplay, then you will love it and you will love the addition of sex scenes.

Regardless, I think you should really give this game a shot, maybe it turns out that you love these type of games! For my personally, I think the game is very polished and unique. 4.2/5.
